Our Top 5 Looks from the BET Awards

Our Top Five Looks from the BET Awards 2019

By Nicole Gordon

Rihanna

The queen of everything Fenty wears her own brand for the event. Are we surprised that she slayed the blue carpet? Her outfit is a head-to-toe black leather look that brings in an edgy, yet feminine touch. If you rock an outfit like this to a function this summer, you can pair our Fusa headwrap and Shanice earrings with it for a regal vibe.

Lizzo

Breakout artist Lizzo looked absolutely dreamy in her head-to-toe custom wooden print. The simplicity in her makeup look gave a new-age update to old-school glamour. We loved her flute-playing performance so much, we had to include that look too! We think our Onika headwrap would complete the tree look and play well with the wooden print. The Nkwa earrings would look great with the white performance look.

Amanda Seales

Seales’ orange number by Fouad Sarkis left us speechless as the silhouette accented both her skin tone and figure beautifully! The tones in our Tunse headwrap and Oroma earrings will pair perfectly with an outfit in this shade and introduce some more colors to the look’s palette.

Mary J. Blige

How can we forget Ms. Mary? Her performance with Lil’ Kim was just as memorable as this outfit. The ageless beauty in her thigh-high boots by Jennifer Le stole the show when she broke out her legendary dance moves. Want to slay a look similar to this? Try our Toju Silk-Lined Headwrap and Oku earrings to complete your look.

Cardi B

This look is the perfect balance of structure and feminine silhouettes with enough room to get down on the dance floor, or in this case, the stage. Cardi’s look slayed during her performance of “Press” and “Clout.”  Our Ete Headwrap and Samantha earrings will complete your outfit at any event this season.
