The African Exfoliating Net

Your loofah could never.

Handwoven and used for generations across West Africa, the exfoliating net (also called a sapo) buffs away dead skin, KP bumps, and strawberry legs — stretches to scrub your whole back — and one net lasts 2+ years.

What is it?

The shower staple West Africa has known about for generations.

Long before plastic poufs, there was the sapo — a long, handwoven net that scrubs your entire body from shoulders to heels. We source ours directly from West Africa, in the exact weave our founders’ family has used their whole lives.

  • Stretches 33–40 inches — pull it taut and finally scrub the middle of your own back.
  • Dries in minutes — unlike a loofah, there’s nowhere for bacteria to hide and breed.
  • Buffs away the bumps — reviewers report smoother skin from KP, bacne, strawberry legs, and ingrown hairs.
  • Lasts 2+ years, machine washable — toss it in with your laundry and it feels like new.

Smooth for the first time since I was a teenager
OH MY GOD. This is the best product I’ve ever added to my shower routine… I have KP on my arms, and after using this net plus the dry oil, the back of my arms are smooth for the first time since I was a teenager. I also love that the net can access those parts of my back I wouldn’t otherwise be able to reach.

Tried the “prime” knockoffs first
I will say, I purchased three more from another small business off of a “prime” market place, and they do not feel the same. I was shocked how big of a difference there is. I’m a Cee Cee’s girly for good.

“Nets vs poufs”
I did a stress test on them and the walmart poufs and the poufs do not compare. This product is so durable and even though I have sensitive skin, I don’t experience any irritation… 10/10

Real Questions, Real Answers

Before you ask…

It looks small in the package. Is that the whole net?
Don’t fret — the nets stretch! Full-size nets open up to 33–40 inches long and 11–15 inches wide (minis are 9 inches wide), then relax with use. As one reviewer put it: “Don’t be fooled by the size when it comes — it stretches once you’re in the shower.” Each net is handmade, so sizes vary slightly.
How long does one net actually last?
2+ years with regular use. Toss it in the washing machine weekly (or hand-wash) and hang to dry — customers tell us theirs “still stands the time” after two years of daily showers.
Will it be too rough for my sensitive skin?
Customers with eczema and reactive skin use the Original comfortably — but if you want extra gentleness, that’s exactly why we made The Sensitive, our softest weave. Start with lighter pressure — the texture does the work.
How do I use it?
Wet the net, add your favorite body wash or bar soap, and scrub — it lathers beautifully with less soap. Stretch it out between both hands to exfoliate your back. Follow with a Cee Cee’s dry body oil to lock in that post-scrub glow.
What is it made of?
100% nylon, handwoven in West Africa for durability and flexibility — the same style of net our founders’ family has used for generations. Because it dries in minutes, it stays fresher than any loofah. For hygiene reasons, nets are non-returnable.

Queens, your softest skin is one shower away.
