The Soft Skin Set pairs two of our hand-whipped jars in the scent of your choice: a 4 oz Sugar Body Scrub and a 4 oz Whipped Body Butter. The scrub buffs away the dry, dull layer sitting on top of your skin. The butter goes on right after and seals in the water your skin is still holding from the shower. Two steps, one scent, and skin that feels soft the moment you touch it.
Most people scrub, then reach for whatever lotion is closest. That is where the softness gets lost. This set is built as one ritual, so the scent you scrub in is the scent you seal in, and it stays close for hours.
Why They Belong Together
Scrub first. Fine sugar in a rich butter base, with conditioning oils and vitamin E. It polishes without stripping, so skin rinses smooth instead of tight.
Butter second. Whipped shea and mango butter that feels dense in the jar, then melts on contact and sinks in instead of sitting on top. No film, nothing tacky left on your clothes.
One scent, layered twice. Wearing the same scent in both steps builds it on your skin. Customers who layer tell us it lasts longer.
Butter Season
For generations, West African women have reached for shea when the dry harmattan winds arrive. We make our butters by hand in Brooklyn and pause them every summer so they never sit in a hot mail truck. When the air turns cold, they come back, right when skin needs the seal most.
Choose Your Scent
Cocoa Moringa: Warm cocoa and vanilla tonka over soft woods and amber. Our most rebought butter scent, and the scrub is made with moringa powder.
Seychelles: Bergamot and bay leaf open bright and green. Fir needle and cedarwood carry the heart, then sandalwood, vanilla and tobacco settle in warm. An island escape for the coldest months.
Vanilla Almond Soufflé: Toasted almond leads, with whipped cream and salted caramel folded in, over pure vanilla bean. Warm from the oven.
Expresso: Expresso makes dry skin your ex. Creamy coffee, rolled oats and frothed cream melt into sweetened condensed milk, then settle into tonka bean, maple sugar and musk. The scrub pairs sugar with finely ground coffee for a deeper polish, in a base of coffee butter and cocoa butter. The butter is our richest blend, made with shea, kokum and cocoa butters plus coffee seed oil.
Lavender Vanilla: Lavender softened with creamy vanilla. The scrub is made with real lavender essential oil and dried lavender buds. Calm and balanced, the set you reach for at night.
How to Use
In the shower: On wet skin, massage a scoop of scrub in slow circles. Let the sugar do the work; no hard pressure needed. Give extra time to elbows, knees and heels, then rinse with warm water. Use 2 to 3 times a week.
Right after: Pat skin almost dry. Warm a small scoop of butter between your palms and smooth it over damp skin. The water left on your skin is what the butter seals in.
Every other day: Use the butter on its own after any shower. A little goes a long way.
For heels: Apply butter before bed and slip on socks.

Butter first, oil on top. Cocoa Moringa, Seychelles and Vanilla Almond Soufflé each come in a matching dry oil. For Lavender Vanilla, finish with Savannah Silk, our lavender, jasmine and vanilla dry oil.
