Strawberry Vanilla Dry Body Oil
Strawberry Vanilla Scented Dry Body Oil
Ripe strawberries folded into vanilla cream and marshmallow, whipped until it is almost too much. Then amber walks in and makes it grown.
Strawberry Vanilla is the one that gets you stopped in the elevator. Sweet enough to crave, warm enough to stay all day. It carries the heaviest vanilla load of the entire collection, and the amber, sandalwood and soft musk underneath are the reason it reads as a fragrance instead of a dessert. The formula is a true dry oil, which behaves differently from the body oils most people have tried: it absorbs into skin on contact rather than sitting on the surface, so there is no grease, no waiting and nothing rubbing off onto a silk blouse.
The Strawberry Vanilla Scent Journey:
Something is being whipped in a bowl and the whole room smells like it. Strawberries on the counter, vanilla in the air, and underneath it all something warmer that you cannot place yet.
Top Notes: Straight Off the Whisk
Sun-ripened strawberry and fluffy marshmallow spooned over whipped cream, peach and bright bergamot. This opens rich and immediate. The strawberry is ripe rather than candied, marshmallow gives it air, and bergamot cuts across the top so the sweetness has an edge to hold onto. This is the ten minutes that decide whether you love it.
Heart Notes: The Cream Sets
Whipped vanilla and vanilla flower churned with sweet butter, jasmine and dew-soft muguet. The vanilla arrives in two forms here, the bean and the flower, which is what keeps it from flattening out into a single sweet note. Sweet butter thickens it. Jasmine and muguet add a green, dewy lift underneath that most vanilla scents never bother with, and that lift is what makes this wearable in warm weather.
Base Notes: Where It Grows Up
Madagascar vanilla and heavy cream over raw sugar cane, warm amber, sandalwood and soft musk. This is the half of the scent that does the real work. Madagascar vanilla is deeper and darker than the whipped vanilla above it, and amber and sandalwood pull the whole composition down into something warm and adult. Soft musk keeps it close. By the dry-down this has stopped being sweet and started being warm.
Fair warning: the first ten minutes are very sweet. If gourmands are not your thing, this one will not convert you. Wait for the dry-down before you decide, because the amber and sandalwood pull it back into something you can wear into a meeting.
Why You’ll Love It:
- Instant Absorption - Dress the second it goes on. No residue, no transfer, no waiting in a towel.
- It Outlasts a Scented Lotion - The oil binds into skin rather than sitting on top of it, so both the hydration and the fragrance hold for hours longer.
- Skin Stays Comfortable - Grapeseed hydrates without clogging pores and sunflower oil rebuilds the barrier with omega-6 and vitamin E, so skin stops going tight and dry by mid-afternoon.
- Sweet, Then Grown - Amber, sandalwood and musk keep this from reading young. It works at twenty-five and at forty-five.
- The Compliment Scent - The single most stopped-in-the-elevator fragrance in the collection.
- Gentle Enough for Sensitive Skin - Sweet almond oil conditions with vitamins E and A without aggravating reactive skin.
- A Perfume Multiplier - Wear it under a vanilla or amber fragrance and the two hold each other all day.
Powerful Botanical Oil Blend:
Grapeseed Oil - The lightest oil in the blend and the reason there is no greasy finish. Non-comedogenic, so it hydrates without clogging pores on combination or oily skin, and rich in antioxidants and vitamin E. It tightens and tones as it delivers essential fatty acids.
Sweet Almond Oil - Conditioning without weight. Vitamins E and A soften skin and improve texture over time, and the high fatty acid content seals moisture in. This is the oil that makes the formula safe for skin that reacts to almost everything.
Sunflower Oil - Omega-6 fatty acids and vitamin E, working on the skin barrier itself. A stronger barrier holds moisture rather than losing it through the day, which is the difference between skin that stays soft and skin that goes tight by noon. It also calms irritation.
Moringa Oil - The antioxidant engine of the blend. Vitamins A, C and E fight free radicals, support elasticity and help skin hold its firmness, and moringa absorbs fast enough to leave a silky finish rather than a slick one.
Four oils chosen to do different jobs, blended so the result absorbs in seconds and keeps working for hours.
Perfect For:
- Anyone who wears vanilla and wants a version with more depth to it
- Gourmand lovers who are tired of scents that read too young
- Everyday wear, the office included, thanks to the amber dry-down
- Layering under a vanilla, amber or musk perfume
- Cool weather, when the cream and sandalwood turn plush
- Anyone building a signature scent rather than rotating bottles
- Gifting, because this is the one almost nobody dislikes
How to Use:
The Daily Ritual Two to three pumps into warm palms, then over arms, legs, torso and shoulders. Absorbed in seconds. Dress immediately.
Straight Out of the Shower Apply while skin is still damp and warm. This is when absorption is highest and when the strawberry and marshmallow bloom hardest.
Layering for Intensity Under a vanilla or amber perfume it acts as a base and extends the whole thing by hours. Over an unscented body butter, it lasts into the next day.
Strategic Application Pulse points first: inner wrists, inner elbows, behind the knees, base of the throat. Warmth is what pulls the Madagascar vanilla up out of the base.
Through the Year Fall and winter, this is at its best, plush and warm. Spring and summer, go lighter and let the bergamot and muguet keep it fresh.
The Strawberry Vanilla Experience:
You put it on straight out of the shower and for the first minute it is unapologetically sweet. Strawberries and marshmallow, close to too much. You smooth it over your arms and it is already gone, absorbed, no film left behind, and you get dressed without a second thought.
By the time you are out the door it has begun to settle. The whipped vanilla is still there but the butter and jasmine have rounded it, and it has stopped announcing itself. Mid-morning somebody in the elevator turns and asks what you are wearing. By mid-afternoon the Madagascar vanilla, amber and sandalwood have taken over completely, and it has gone quiet and warm and low, and that is the part people lean in for.
Sweet at nine in the morning. Grown by three in the afternoon.
