Sunset Sorbet Dry Body Oil
Sunset Sorbet Scented Dry Body Oil
The last hour of a hot day, spooned out of a paper cup before it melts.
Sunset Sorbet is pink yuzu and sun-warmed strawberry hitting cold coconut sorbet, with the light going gold on everything. It opens sharp and juicy and then softens into something floral and creamy enough that you will keep lifting your wrist to your face. The formula underneath is a true dry oil, which is the part most people have never actually tried: four botanical oils that absorb into skin on contact rather than sitting on top of it. You go from shower to fully dressed in under a minute, with no grease, no shine and nothing transferring to your clothes.
The Sunset Sorbet Scent Journey:
It is the hour when the pavement is still holding the day’s heat and the sky has started to turn. Somebody hands you something cold in a paper cup. It is already melting.
Top Notes: The First Cold Spoonful
Juicy pink yuzu and citrus zest over sun-ripened strawberry, peach and a crackle of sea salt. The opening is sharp on purpose. Pink yuzu is tarter and rounder than lemon, and the sea salt underneath gives it a snap that keeps the fruit from reading as candy. Strawberry and peach come in right behind, ripe rather than sugary, and the whole thing lands cold and bright.
Heart Notes: The Melt
Candied petals and soft rosewater folded into cold coconut milk, jasmine and sugar blossom. This is where it turns. The florals arrive dusted rather than perfumed, and the coconut milk cools everything down and gives the fruit something creamy to sit in. Jasmine and sugar blossom keep it soft. Nothing here is sharp anymore.
Base Notes: The Last of the Light
Vanilla foam, creamy amber and buttery praline drifting into weightless cloud musk. The finish is barely there and that is the design. Vanilla foam and praline sweeten it without weight, amber warms it, and cloud musk holds the whole thing close to your skin instead of projecting it across a room. It ends the way the hour does, quietly.
Fair warning: the opening is sharp. The first two minutes are all citrus and salt, and if you judge it there you will miss the scent entirely. Give it ten minutes on skin. That is when the coconut and vanilla come up underneath and the whole thing makes sense.
Why You’ll Love It:
- Absorbs on Contact - A true dry oil formula. Zero residue, so getting dressed is not a waiting game.
- Hydration That Lasts - Holds moisture in for hours rather than soaking in and disappearing the way a lotion does.
- Comfortable Skin All Day - Sunflower oil brings omega-6 and vitamin E to rebuild the barrier, so skin stops feeling tight and dry by the afternoon.
- Safe for Combination Skin - Grapeseed oil is non-comedogenic and light enough to wear daily without clogging pores.
- A Fragrance Base for Your Perfume - Layers underneath and gives your scent something to hold onto all day, which is usually when people start asking what you have on.
- It Changes on You - Sharp at the top, creamy by the end. The scent at hour four is not the one you applied.
- Warm-Weather Wear - Built for heat. This is the one you reach for from May through September.
Powerful Botanical Oil Blend:
Grapeseed Oil - Light enough that you will wonder where it went. Grapeseed absorbs almost immediately, is non-comedogenic, and carries antioxidants and vitamin E that protect skin while it hydrates. It tightens and tones, and it works on skin types that usually cannot wear an oil at all.
Sweet Almond Oil - The softener. High in fatty acids and carrying vitamins E and A, sweet almond oil conditions skin, smooths rough texture over time, and stays gentle enough for skin that flares up easily.
Sunflower Oil - Skin loses moisture through a weakened barrier, and this is the oil that rebuilds it. Omega-6 fatty acids and vitamin E reinforce the barrier so hydration stays where you put it, and its anti-inflammatory properties settle irritation down.
Moringa Oil - Vitamins A, C and E in real concentration. Moringa fights free radicals, supports elasticity, and absorbs fast enough to leave skin silky rather than coated.
Four oils, one job: hydrate deeply, absorb instantly, and leave skin better than it was.
Perfect For:
- Fruity and gourmand fragrance lovers who want something with an edge on it
- Hot weather, long days, and anywhere you will be outside
- Layering under a vanilla, coconut or fruity perfume
- Anyone who wants scent that stays close rather than filling a room
- Fast morning routines, because there is nothing to wait out
- Vacation and travel, since a dry oil will not leak grease through a bag
- A first bottle if you have never worn a body oil before
How to Use:
The Daily Ritual Two to three pumps into warm palms, then over arms, legs and shoulders. It is absorbed before you have finished applying it.
Straight Out of the Shower Best on skin that is still damp and warm. Damp skin takes it in faster and the heat pulls the citrus up immediately.
Layering for Intensity Wear it under a vanilla or coconut perfume, or on its own under an unscented lotion, if you want the sorbet to last into the evening.
Strategic Application Pulse points do the work: inner wrists, behind the knees, the inner elbow. Warmth is what brings the coconut milk forward.
Through the Year Spring and summer, this is the whole point. Fall and winter, apply to pulse points only and let the vanilla and praline base carry it.
The Sunset Sorbet Experience:
You get out of the shower and your skin is still warm. Two pumps and the first thing you get is citrus, sharp enough that you pause. Salt behind it. You smooth it over your arms and it vanishes, no slick, no film, and you are dressed inside of a minute.
Ten minutes later it has changed completely. The coconut milk has come up under the fruit and the whole thing has gone soft and creamy. An hour from now you will catch it on yourself and stop what you are doing, and you will not be the only one who notices. By evening it has settled into vanilla, amber and a musk that sits right against your skin, and every time you move you get a little more of it.
The best hour of a hot day, and it lasts longer than the hour does.
